Can this 48V 100Ah lithium battery directly replace the original lead-acid battery?

Yes. It adopts the same enclosure dimensions as lead-acid batteries, perfectly fitting the original battery compartment. The wiring is identical to lead-acid batteries, so you can swap it directly without modifying the vehicle wiring.

What is the specification of the built-in BMS? What about the peak discharge current?

It comes with a built-in 200A continuous BMS, peak discharge current 400A for 10 seconds. It delivers instant high current for golf cart startup and hill climbing, with multi-layer safety protection.

The nominal voltage is 48V. What are the full-charge and low-voltage cut-off voltages?

Nominal 48V (15S LiFePO4). Full charge cutoff voltage: 54.75V; discharge cutoff voltage: 41.25V.

Can I charge this battery with my original lead-acid charger?

We do NOT recommend using lead-acid chargers directly. Lead-acid charging profiles differ from LiFePO4. It may cause incomplete charging or overheating. Please use a dedicated 48V LiFePO4 charger with 54.75V cut-off.

How much longer is the runtime compared with traditional lead-acid batteries?

Under the same working conditions, it has much higher usable capacity. This 100Ah LiFePO4 can release over 95% of its rated capacity. Compared with lead-acid batteries of the same Ah rating, driving range increases by roughly 30%~50%, with a far longer cycle life.

What protection features does the BMS have?

The integrated BMS provides overcharge, over-discharge, over-current, short-circuit, high-temperature, low-temperature protection and cell balancing. It automatically cuts off output under abnormal conditions to protect the battery and vehicle

With 200A max continuous discharge, what applications is this battery suitable for?

Ideal for golf carts, sightseeing vehicles and small electric shuttles. It supports steady 200A continuous discharge for heavy loads and frequent hill climbing.

Does the battery require regular maintenance?

Maintenance-free design, no water topping needed. The BMS has passive cell balancing. For long-term storage, keep state of charge between 40%~60% in a dry and ventilated place.

How does the battery perform in cold environments?

Capacity will drop at low temperatures. BMS blocks charging below 0°C. Do NOT charge the battery in freezing conditions. Discharge temperature range: -20℃ ~ 60℃; charge above 0℃.

What is the warranty? Does it pass UN38.3 for shipping?

The battery is UN38.3 certified for sea and air export shipping. Please refer to product documentation for warranty terms. It can reach 4000 cycles at 0.5C under proper use.
